There are so many reasons to do this campaign and the more I get involved the more I keep thinking about my grandmother…she unfortunely died of cancer when I was very young, I was about to turn 5. She was such a soft spoken, kind and gentle woman. A woman who played the organ at the church and had 7 children, my mom being the youngest. My memories of her are few but I do remember she always had gum for me. I later figured out what flavour of gum it was by the smell (our strongest sent). It was freshmint and now when I buy gum (for myself) it’s always freshmint.  Kind of silly and sometimes it makes me sad because I know now what I missed out on.
